In 1968, the HKN Lounge was established at Purdue University.

Eta Kappa Nu merged with IEEE to become IEEE-HKN.

Renovations to the HKN Lounge are completed, providing a modern space for members. The new space in BHEE 138 offered a more central location for students to study and socialize. In the following semester, The chaper also got its food permit to begin selling hotdogs in the lounge.
